The key to marketing on social media is to create a strong brand and to create a strong brand you have to humanize your business.
That’s it. It’s just that simple. People identify with other people, not companies.
Think about it.
What types of posts do you like, comment on, or share the most?
The posts advertising a 50% sale or the posts that speak to what you are feeling in that moment or that show someone on vacation or spending time with their loved ones?
We buy from brands that we identify with, that make us feel as though they understand what we need and want.
So, the next time you get ready to post to your business’ social media page, think of identifying with your customer instead of selling to them.
